We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Gas Service, Breakdown, and Install Engineer to join our professional team. This role involves providing expert maintenance, installation, and repair services for commercial gas systems across various sites. The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, along with the ability to work safely and efficiently in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine servicing, breakdown repairs, and installations of commercial gas equipment in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and techniques, then execute effective repairs or replacements.
Utilise hand tools, power tools and analyser effectively.
Perform mechanical tasks including assembly, disassembly, and modification of gas systems and associated components.
Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation.
Drive company vehicle to sites, ensuring compliance with commercial driving regulations.
Maintain detailed records of work performed and report on job progress as necessary using Job Watch CRM system.
Requirements
Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of commercial gas systems and associated safety protocols.
Must hold relevant Commercial Gas Qualifications.
Valid driving licence suitable for operating company vehicles on commercial assignments.
Basic mathematical skills for technical measurements and calculations.
Experience in assembly work related to gas appliances or industrial equipment is desirable.
Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Flexibility to work across multiple sites with varying conditions; willingness to undertake training as required.

Relevant technical qualifications and industry certifications (minimum):
COCN1/CODNCO1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety
ICPN1 – Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework
CIGA1 – Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances
CDGA1 – Direct Fired Commercial Appliances
CORT1 – Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Plumbing & Gas Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either currently working towards, or ready to progress into, an NVQ Level 3–4 qualification in Plumbing and Gas Engineering.
You will gain hands-on experience working alongside fully qualified engineers on a wide range of domestic and commercial projects, while continuing your formal training.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems
Support Gas Safe registered engineers with servicing and installation work
Learn to diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently
Work on boilers, central heating systems, pipework, and drainage systems
Ensure all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Attend college/training provider as required
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or working towards NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 in Plumbing & Gas
Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
